Audit logs

Audit logs have been implemented to improve workflow security. Any changes to the "Workflow Settings" made by a user are now logged in the backend database and can be shared by Tech upon request.

New feature

New OCR

Google Cloud Platform’s (GCP) OCR, Document AI, has been integrated with Converta specifically for text detection from documents aka Document OCR.

Enabling Document AI:

  • A new field named "Select OCR" has been added to the Workflow Settings.
  • Its default setting is AWS, which cannot be edited.
  • If Document OCR needs to be enabled, a request must be sent to the tech team after creating the workflow, and they will make the change from the backend.

QR Code Reading Capability for Invoices

This new feature will significantly enhance workflow efficiency: the ability to read QR codes from invoices and automatically populate extracted data into the appropriate workflow fields.

How It Works:

  • Enable the feature: This feature can be switched on by adding a new field to the workflow and applying the QR code extraction key (MC) to it.
  • Scan the QR Code: Invoices that are processed on that workflow will automatically get scanned for the QR code.
  • Extract the Data: The system extracts key information from the QR code such as invoice number, date, amount, IRN, and vendor details.
  • Auto-Population: The extracted data is seamlessly populated into the corresponding fields in the workflow, ready for further processing.
